Almontes Abroad is officially back from summer break! A lot has happened in the past 3 months and so I wanted to give you all a quick update on what’s been going on.
Andy and I took a week long trip to Italy back in June. We went to Venice and Florence – stopping by some of the wineries in the Chianti area for some wine tasting. We ate a lot, drank a lot and had an amazing time.
Then Brexit happened. Read my post here where I answer some of the more common questions we have gotten since.
In July, Andy and I did a weekend break in Copenhagen, visiting some of the major sites.
Also in July, my family came over from NYC for about 10 days. We showed them all of the sites in London, took them to Paris for the weekend and took my nieces to Disneyland Paris. This was the first time anyone in my family travelled to Europe and I think they really enjoyed it.
August was a quiet month for us in terms of travel. However, Andy changed roles at his job and I got a promotion so we’ve both been super busy tucking into our new roles.
Just a few days ago we celebrated our three-year wedding anniversary (how time flies!). Here’s a little flash back at our special day
And now that summer is over, I’m back to writing for the blog and sharing about our life abroad. We have a few trips lined up within the next few months so do be sure to follow us both on the blog and via our social media channels to stay up to date with us.
That’s all for now. Thanks for reading. Talk soon.
